A bit of History
Aurora Farmers Cooperative was founded in 1976 and it is leader about the production and marketing of fruit and vegetables with particular attention about tomato, melon and zucchini.
The goal is to guarantee the maximum standard of food safety thanks to the traceability of products, so technicians check apposite standard every day.
What we do
In 2014 was born the project POMOSI ‘the laboratory of processing of dry tomato from PGI Pomodoro di Pachino, the only one in Italy is on the European Community to make the cherry tomato and Datterino dry branded PGI, a product of excellence born gives a traditional product of the south-eastern territory of Sicily.

Acknowledgements
The Pachino tomato gets recognition from the European Community in 2014 with the IGP protection mark. Including the famous cherry tomato that takes its name for the shape of cherry, in turn all varieties of tomatoes such as ribbed, smooth round, coppery bunch and to complete the date tomato comes the IGP mark at the end of 2017 as a type of tomatoes protected by the European Economic Community.

Il nostro pomodoro è ricchissimo di vitamine, nutriente e benefico per la salute, grazie all’apporto di licopene un antiossidante essenziale per il contrasto dei radicali liberi che danneggiano il DNA ,capace di contrastare l’insorgenza di alcuni tumori alla prostata, sul carcinoma polmonare, dell’esofago, dello stomaco, del pancreas, della cervice e della mammella. Il nostro pomodoro è talmente gustoso che a volte non occorre condirlo. Croccante, attraente alla vista, dalla polpa consistente e sapida, con una grande tenuta post raccolta. Un pomodoro diverso perchè più buono al palato.
